How do I disable, re-enable, or delete a folder automation?

Once they are created, folder automations can be disabled, re-enabled, and deleted. Disabling temporarily turns off an automation so that it does not affect files in the Project, but it can be re-enabled at a later date. Deleting an automation removes it from the Prime account entirely.

Re-enabling a Folder Automation

To enable a folder automation for the first time, see How do I add a folder automation to my Project? To re-enable a previously disabled folder automation, do the following:

  1. Log into the Studio Prime portal.
  2. Click Automations. The Automations page is opened to the Active tab by default.

  3. Click Disabled.
  4. Click the desired automation and click Enable.

Disabling a Folder Automation

When a folder automation is disabled, it is turned off, but not completely removed from your Studio Prime account. As such, it can be enabled again at a later time when you wish to use it again. To permanently remove a folder automation from you Studio Prime account, see Deleting a Folder Automation.

To disable a folder automation:

  1. Log into the Studio Prime portal.
  2. Click Automations. The Automations page is opened to the Active tab by default.

  3. Click the desired automation and click Disable.

Deleting a Folder Automation

When a folder automation is deleted, it is completely removed from your Studio Prime account. If you wish to use the automation at a later time, you will need to recreate it. To disable a folder automation without completely removing it from you Studio Prime account, see Disabling a Folder Automation.

To delete a folder automation:

  1. Log into the Studio Prime portal.
  2. Click Automations. The Automations page is opened to the Active tab by default.

  3. If you wish to delete an automation that is not currently active, click the appropriate tab (Disabled, Error, or Warning) to locate it.
  4. Click the desired automation and click Delete.
